Three Gopher Commits named to All-Metro Team
Three Minnesota commitments were among 24 players named to the Minneapolis Star Tribune All-Metro team. Tight end Ra'Shede Hageman of Minneapolis Washburn, tackle Ed Olson from Mahtomedi and defensive end Matt Garin of Eastview were named to the squad. Quarterback Anders Lee of Edina, who has received some recruiting interest from Minnesota, was named the Star Tribune Player of the Year.

Commit Josh Campion Named All-Conference
Josh Campion, a 6-foot-4, 260-pound offensive tackle from Fergus Falls (MN) High, was the first player to commit to Minnesota for the Class of 2009. Campion led the Otters to a 10-1 mark, losing to St. Michael-Albertville 32-14 in the Class AAAA Section 8 finals. GoldenSports.Net caught up with him to learn the latest on this star lineman.

2008 Minnesota Prep Bowl Schedule
The Minnesota Prep Bowl will take place next week as they have split the six games between two days for the first time. Three undefeated teams remain in the field. Minnesota Gophers fans will want to watch prospects such as Cole Jirik of Northfield, Joel Bauman from Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, Evan Williams from DeLaSalle and Fritz Rock of Wayzata.

Saturday's Minnesota State Football Schedule
The Minnesota state football semifinals will continue Saturday as all six classes will play at the Metrodome. There are three undefeated teams playing Saturday. The Prep Bowl will be held Nov. 28 and 29, as the league decided to split the play between two days. The following is a look at Saturday's schedule. Matt Garin, a 6-foot-4, 223-pound senior defensive end from Eastview, has committed to Minnesota in an exclusive GoldenSports.Net interview.
